Digital strategy, design, and web development for charities, non-profits & social enterprises.

Before starting Big Pixel® Community CIC, I spent twenty years in design and over a decade working for a large UK charity. This means I know how organisations like yours actually work.
I know about the funding cycles, the trustee decisions, the gap between what you want your website to do and what your budget allows.
At Big Pixel®, our mission is to close the digital gap and bring the commercially recognised benefits of digital strategy, design, and development to the non-profit sector, helping you achieve your true potential.
☝️ That isn't just a nice phrase. I genuinely want to do things differently. That is why I set up Big Pixel® as a CIC at the start of 2026.
After studying digital strategy at Henley Business School, and then talking to charities and social enterprises in and around Norwich, I realised that real, substantive digital support at a price nonprofits can actually budget for is practically non-existent.
Resources exist, but the understanding of how to use them often doesn't. Organisations doing genuinely important work are locked out of the digital strategies that commercial companies take for granted. Not through any failing of their own, but because of restricted budgets and stretched staff.
To me, that feels morally wrong.
Through workshops, surveys, and regular meetings, Big Pixel can help you build a digital strategy and roadmap. Helping you and your team make the most of AI, data, security, and performance, now and into the future.
Whether you need online donation forms, event registration, member portals, newsletter integration, or something entirely bespoke, we build fully-accessible websites and web apps around the way you work.
Logos, colour systems, typography, reports, and campaign materials that communicate who you are clearly and consistently across your website, your annual report, your social channels, and everything in between.
Big Pixel's pricing is built around what your organisation actually earns. The more you turn over annually, the closer to full rate you pay. It means the work stays financially viable, and accessible to the organisations that need it most.
Exact fees depend on the scope of the project. But your organisation's annual income is the starting point, rather than your budget, or what you wish was your budget.
Send us a brief message or email telling me about your organisation and what you are trying to solve.
We pop over to see you, or set up a Zoom call where we'll ask about your annual income (that sets the starting point, not the cost), and what you want to achieve.
An easy to follow document setting out what we'll do, what it'll cost, and what you can expect
If any of this sounds like what your organisation needs, the best thing to do is drop us a line. There's no obligation on your side. We can just have a chat about your organisation, what you need, and see if we can help.
